Martin, your project is fantastic. I would take out Where's Waldo. The work is very strong, just like Emma. :)
The eraser of positive space is cleaver and works on many levels. The drop shadows are well done. The pink is electric, matching Emma's clothing. Great use of the model...nice idea....painting yourself....inside and out....
Be sincere and don't over populate your projects. Stick with one or two clear ideas. The pop cultural reference is cheeky, but waters down the strength of the assignment.
