Great work Emma! Let's shoot for group discussion on logo's tomorrow. Is the black too intense or saturated for the triadic colors she choose? Would a dark, forest green, fit her mood and restaurant's concept better? Or navy blue?
Playing around with the color scheme inside would help, perhaps the pink and green is a little light, but I like the black a lot, and the kerning editing is awesome. A really great base design, and if used with a similar modern menu design, something urban, hip, youth culture feel

I think a nice green would compliment the inside colors well
